Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Stock Clerk in Materials Management to support nursing units and inventory control in the warehouse. You will receive, store, and issue materials, maintaining stock records and helping to ensure timely restocking.

Under the Stockroom Supervisor, you will maintain supply levels, process requests within 24 hours, rotate stock, keep a clean warehouse, and report stockouts. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence with good driving record.
• Willingness to train; previous stockroom/inventory and/or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate supply levels on nursing units and restock JIT supply carts.
• Fulfill stockroom supply requests within 24 hours for routine orders and promptly for STAT/emergency orders.
• Rotate stock to ensure oldest inventory is used first and check expiration dates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and dispose of cardboard properly.
• Assist in restocking supplies and notify supervisors of stockouts or usage changes.
