We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Director Veterinarian to lead our growing team!

Metropolitan Veterinary Center is a 5 -doctor, full-service, small animal hospital with a collaborative team that enjoys working together and having fun. We practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education.

We have just recently moved into our new state of the art location in Sterling Heights, MI which includes an amazing layout with separate surgical and dental suites, an ICU, an isolation room, and a lobby with both a cat and dog waiting rooms. The hospital has an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy and more!

MVP is seeking an ambitious and team-oriented Medical Director (Preferably 3+ years out of school).

In this role, the Medical Director will provide a variety of animal healthcare duties in the hospital, as well as management, mentorship, and career development for veterinarian staff.

Moreover, this individual will ensure the regulatory compliance of the animal hospital as well as develop, approve, and maintain veterinary standards of care for all patients. The Medical Director (MD) is also responsible for ensuring an environment of positive teamwork among hospital staff. Active and productive collaboration between staff members is critical to the success of this position! The MD understands they will wear many hats and will be passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, recruiting, retention and advocating for the growth of Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP).

Requirements:
  • Licensed Michigan Veterinarian (active and clear)
