We seek a passionate and experienced Medical Director Veterinarian to lead our dedicated team towards medical excellence and excellent client service.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the veterinary team, ensuring the highest standards of medical care.
- Oversee and develop medical protocols and procedures across the clinic.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, such as digital radiographs and ultrasound, in patient management and treatment.
- Lead and participate in continuing education and development opportunities for staff.
- Collaborate with hospital management in strategic planning and practice development.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients through clear and compassionate communication.

Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited school.
- Valid veterinary license in Michigan
- 3+ years of veterinary practice experience, with prior leadership or management preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform duties included in the associate DVM job description and achieve specific production goals.
- Maintain veterinary excellence through continuing education and leadership in medical innovation.
- Mentor and develop DVM staff, manage schedules, and oversee staffing needs.
- Support community engagement and participate in hospital meetings and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and uphold hospital standards.
- Support staff recruitment, retention, and mentorship programs.
- Support new business development and strategic initiatives.
