Companion Animal Hospital Wicker Park in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian to join our team!

Companion Animal Hospital (CAH) - Wicker Park is a full-service small animal hospital, offering medical and surgical care. Opened in July 2019, our facility features brand new equipment including in-house labs, digital radiography, ultrasound, and electronic medical records.

Our support staff are highly skilled, proficient in radiography, blood draws, cystocentesis, IV catheter placement, monitoring during surgery, assisting in exams, and cytology reading, all in a low-stress environment. We are proud to be Fear Free Certified.

We are seeking an ambitious, team-oriented Medical Director.

Role and Responsibilities

The Medical Director (MD) at MVP is responsible for promoting Medical Excellence in patient care, client service, ongoing learning, and hospital efficiency. The MD models clinical excellence, mentors veterinarians, and collaborates with the Practice Manager to foster a positive environment, enhance teamwork, and improve hospital performance. The MD works closely with regional leadership to develop annual plans focused on growth, client satisfaction, and staff retention. The role may include serving as the Hospital Director.

Schedule and Location

Flexible scheduling with no on-call or overnight shifts required. Located at 2134 W Division St, Chicago, IL 60622, in the vibrant Wicker Park neighborhood.

Candidate Qualifications

• Active Illinois Veterinary License in good standing
