Summary

This is an open continuous announcement. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and qualified candidates will be considered as vacancies become available.

Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate operations of Ambulatory care, including emergency and routine treatment procedures, ensuring quality, safety, and appropriateness of care.
  • Arrange and communicate provider availability and coverage during non-administrative hours.
  • Collaborate with Education Officers and Residency Program Directors to ensure effective teaching programs and supervision of residents and students.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines based on national standards and communicate to staff.
  • Coordinate resource use with committees/boards, including space, supplies, and staffing.
  • Provide formal orientation to new staff regarding policies, procedures, and role responsibilities.
  • Ensure high-quality care delivery, promote quality improvement, and coordinate staff education and continuing medical education.
  • Maintain medical record documentation, organize staff training, and encourage ongoing education activities.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual bonus, salary increases

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days/year (including leave, sick leave, holidays, CME leave)

Licensure: Unrestricted license from any US state or territory

CME: Up to $1,000/year reimbursement (full-time, board certified)

Work Schedule: 7:45-16:15 CST

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship or eligible non-citizens
  • All applicants must pass drug screening, background checks, and physical exam
  • Proficiency in English
  • Participation in vaccination programs as required
Qualifications
  • MD or equivalent from an accredited school
  • Full, unrestricted license to practice medicine
  • Completed residency in an approved program
  • Experience in primary care (3+ years), hospital/emergency/trauma experience, board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
