Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven physician to join our post-acute care team in Worcester, Massachusetts. This is a full-time opportunity involving rounding and providing medical directorship in skilled nursing facilities, with comprehensive support, autonomy, and earning potential.

Compensation is fee-for-service with an estimated range of $328,000 – $394,000 annually and monthly stipends for medical directorship.

Qualifications

• Active physician license in Massachusetts and DEA registration.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
