AbsoluteCare in Massachusetts seeks a dynamic physician leader to translate population health principles into action for medically complex and socially vulnerable members. The Medical Director will oversee ambulatory care teams and collaborate with National Directors to enhance standards of care.

Qualificações

• Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Licensed physician in the state of practice.
• 4+ years of experience managing Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial populations.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to treat the acutely ill in an outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of value-based provider programs, utilization management and HEDIS quality measures.
• Long-term interest in AbsoluteCare.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the medical center to deliver superb medical care within a PCMH model.
• Build relationships with health plan medical directors, hospitals, and specialists.
• Manage the team to track and meet contractual quality metric goals.
• Use the EMR to increase quality initiatives and efficiency.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and recommend treatment alternatives.
• Work in a dyad model with the Practice Administrator to manage Medical Staff.
• Collaborate with National Directors to implement process improvements and improve standards of care.
• Provide medical guidance to the Medical Staff and implement best evidence-based practices.
• Implement strategic medical operations to meet contracted goals.
• Evaluate medical operations to ensure compliance and contractual obligations.
• Continuously improve quality of care and outcomes.
