Job summary

AbsoluteCare seeks a physician leader to translate population health principles into action for medically complex and socially vulnerable members. You will steer clinical operations within a matrix organization, partnering with National Directors and the Practice Administrator to meet quality and utilization goals in an ambulatory intensive caring unit model.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Licensed physician in the state of practice.
• ACLS certification.
• Experience managing Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial populations (4+ years).
• Knowledge of value-based provider programs and HEDIS quality measures.
• Long-term interest in AbsoluteCare.

Responsibilities

• Lead the medical center to deliver superb medical care within a PCMH model and Complex Care Management.
• Collaborate with health plan medical directors, hospitals, specialists, and partners to meet outcomes and reduce fragmentation of care.
• Manage team to track and meet contractual quality metric goals.
• Utilize EMR effectively to improve quality initiatives and efficiency.
• Provide medical guidance and review practices to implement evidence-based care.
• Oversee Medical Staff and AbsoluteCare team in a dyad model with Practice Administrator.
• Drive process improvements and standards of care aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and optimize center operations.
