Qualifications

• MD/DO licensure to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• DEA registration in the state of practice.
• Board certification in primary specialty: Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry.
• Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care and referrals to other medical providers and community services.
• Provide injections if needed.
• APP collaboration.
