Job summary

University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is recruiting an experienced transplant nephrologist to join our faculty as Medical Director of the Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Program. This leadership role combines clinical care, program development and academic scholarship.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, mentor fellows and trainees, and drive quality improvement initiatives that advance patient outcomes and transplant volumes in a busy, landmark center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-certified in nephrology with UNOS certification or eligibility.
• Proven leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for an established kidney/pancreas transplant program.
• Engage in education and mentorship of nephrology fellows, residents and medical students while pursuing clinical and translational research.
• Collaborate with transplant surgeons and other specialists to deliver comprehensive transplant care.
