Job summary
Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, in partnership with the University of Arizona, seeks a Clinical Transplant Nephrologist to serve as Medical Director of Kidney Living Donor and Pancreas Transplant Programs. Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
- Completion of an accredited Transplant Nephrology Fellowship
- Experience with renal biopsy, dialysis, and kidney transplantation
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- Commitment to academic medicine and interdisciplinary collaboration
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient transplant nephrology care
- Lead evaluation and waitlist management for kidney/pancreas transplantation
- Partner with surgeons, APPs, coordinators, pharmacists and social workers
- Lead multidisciplinary transplant rounds and participate in committees
- Contribute to teaching, research, and program development
