Job summary

Our Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in Naples, FL seeks a Medical Director (Infectious Disease, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine) to lead outpatient care. You will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with the care team, and maintain productivity benchmarks.

The role requires MD/DO with a valid license, DEA and Furnishing licenses, and the ability to see 14–18 patients daily in a supported outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Outpatient primary care experience is required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 per half-day).
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day or within 72 hours with accurate billing codes.
• Deliver primary care services for chronic and acute conditions.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor voicemails/emails daily and support retention efforts.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs/NPs) with chart reviews as required.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Full-time physicians receive protected administrative time.
