Goshen Health seeks a Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Provider to act as our next Medical Director for Home Care and Hospice. This is a 0.3 FTE role responsible for the direction and coordination of Hospice medical care, developing and upholding medical concepts related to Hospice care, and serving as a consultant and advisor to the Hospice program. The role is primarily administrative, with most direct care provided by Nurse Practitioners employed by the Hospice.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and licensed in Indiana. (Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is preferred.)
• After-hours call coverage to consult with hospice and home care nurses regarding patient care and symptom management. Call is scheduled to not exceed 1 weekend per month and 1 week of weekly call per month.
• Knowledge of the regulatory and legal landscape of Hospice practices as it relates to operations.
