Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Director, GI Oncology and Solid Tumors to lead a matrix Medical Affairs team in the US. You will collaborate with brand and clinical development on strategy, lifecycle planning, and scientific communications.

The role requires an advanced degree, oncology expertise, 5–10 years in medical affairs, and proven ability to engage with key opinion leaders. Remote-friendly with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (MD/DO/PhD/PharmD or equivalent).
• Oncology experience, GI tumors and breast cancer preferred.
• 5–10 years in medical affairs or similar oncology roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a matrix Medical Affairs team to develop scientific platforms and strategic plans.
• Provide day-to-day clinical and medical guidance across departments.
• Contribute to publications, advisory boards, and scientific meetings.
• Support brand strategies and cross-functional clinical and commercial teams.
• Manage Investigator Sponsored Trials reviews and educational grants.
