Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Director, GI Oncology and Solid Tumors, to lead a cross-functional Medical Affairs team and drive medical strategy across GI tumors and breast cancer programs. You will collaborate with brand teams, Clinical Development, and external investigators to ensure high scientific and medical standards.

The role requires an advanced degree and 5–10 years in medical affairs or oncology, with strong communication skills and travel 40–50%.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (MD/DO/PhD/PharmD or equivalent).
• 5–10+ years in medical affairs or oncology roles.
• Excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day medical guidance and strategic input for Medical Affairs plans.
• Lead cross-functional Medical Affairs team and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory and Clinical Development.
• Represent Medical Affairs externally at advisory boards, scientific meetings and with key opinion leaders.
