Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO license in Virginia; board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility, long-term care, or geriatric medicine preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up care for residents
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and quality outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and staff on disease management and preventive care
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements
• Offer clinical guidance to Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare staff
