Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in Toms River, New Jersey is seeking a full-time adult epileptologist to serve as Medical Director of the Epilepsy Program at Community Medical Center. This non-hospital-employed leadership role will allow you to develop an advanced epilepsy program.

Responsibilities include a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on surgical epilepsy and complex case management. The position offers competitive benefits, opportunities for research collaboration, and a productivity bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a practicing clinical epileptologist.
• Exceptional recent fellowship graduates will be considered.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and growth of the epilepsy program at CMC.
• Mix of outpatient/inpatient and clinical cases.
• Minimal administrative oversight and significant autonomy.

Skills

Board-certified in Neurology

Skilled in surgical epilepsy evaluation and care

Strong communication and leadership skills

Education

Fellowship-trained in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology
