Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an experienced Neurologist to join the Epilepsy Division within the Department of Neuroscience. The role spans Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center, both Level 4 epilepsy centers, offering flexible scheduling and limited call.

The ideal candidate will have a 2-year epilepsy fellowship and be BE/BC in Neurology, with NJ licensure or eligibility. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating seizure disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings,

Qualifications

• Be/Board eligible in Neurology or equivalent
• Fellowship in epilepsy preferred
• Experience with EEG and long-term video EEG studies
• Experience with epilepsy surgery and device placement

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat seizure disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Interpret EEG studies including long-term video EEG
• Identify suitable candidates for antiepileptic devices and oversee workups
• Collaborate with referring physicians and integrate with staff physicians
