The University of Kansas Health System seeks a cardiovascular imaging leader to serve as Medical Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory. The role combines strategic, clinical, educational, operational, and research leadership across a premier imaging program.

Candidate will oversee a comprehensive echocardiography program, maintain accreditation, mentor faculty, and advance academic initiatives including multicenter trials and AI applications in imaging.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required with board certification in cardiovascular disease.
• Level III training in echocardiography.
• Academic credentials commensurate with associate professor or professor.
• Eligibility for Kansas medical licensure in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Direct clinical echocardiography operations and quality initiatives.
• Oversee all echocardiographic imaging services and accreditation.
• Maintain IAC accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Develop imaging protocols, standardized reporting, and best practices.
• Improve efficiency, access, reporting turnaround, and performance.
