Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Completion of CAAHEP approved diagnostic medical sonography program with echocardiography specialization preferred.
• 5+ years experience as a sonographer performing ultrasound exams.
• Demonstrated leadership characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and assign duties and responsibilities.
• Assure coverage for cardiac and peripheral sonography needs at all clinic sites.
• Assist in annual employee evaluations and time reporting.
• Coordinate training of fellows and sonography students with the Ultrasound Program Director.
• Enforce departmental and hospital policies; provide disciplinary actions with the Program Director.
