PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Physician / Medical Director to provide on-site leadership across Maryland detention facilities, including Annapolis and nearby centers.

The role combines primary, urgent, emergency, and addiction medicine to serve an underserved population. You will oversee clinical services, ensure NCCHC/ACA standards, supervise medical staff, and coordinate care for inmates with a focus on comprehensive health services and risk management.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
• Licensed to practice Medicine in Maryland.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Maintain current DEA and BLS certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Mansioni

• Provide medical services to inmate/patient population per accepted standards.
• Oversee clinical management of the medical health program per NCCHC/ACA and PCM policies.
• Deliver care on scheduled workdays; coordinate with facility administration and PCM.
• Provide medical consultation to physicians, mid-level providers, and nursing staff.
• Supervise medical staff on duty and ensure timely medical entries.
