Job summary

STGi is seeking a Medical Director to oversee clinical services at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Tupelo, MS. The role requires leading primary outpatient care for enrolled Veterans, coordinating with the CBOC Clinic Manager, and ensuring adherence to VA program standards.

The position emphasizes supervision of providers, participation in quality assurance, and collaboration to expand services while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Mississippi medical license.
• Formal management or leadership training is desirable.
• Experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of CBOC primary care services.
• Supervise providers and ensure compliance with VA standards and policies.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and clinical performance metrics.
• Coordinate recruitment and orientation of clinical staff physicians, PAs, and NPs.
• Maintain CLIA laboratory oversight and ensure patient safety and quality care.
