Job summary

STGi is seeking a Medical Director to oversee outpatient primary care for enrolled Veterans at the CBOC, in coordination with the VA Medical Center. The role includes leading clinicians, guiding QI initiatives, and ensuring evidence-based practice across the clinic.

The position requires an active medical license, board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, and strong leadership and communication skills to support VA clinical performance standards and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (ABMS/BOS ABMS).
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Detail-oriented with multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and vision for outpatient services.
• Collaborate with Clinic Manager to lead CBOC clinicians.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement teams.
• Sign collaborative practice agreements with APRN/PA.
• Deliver primary and preventive care to enrolled patients.
