Job summary

Alexion is seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Development in Boston, MA. The role leads or supports clinical subteams to develop global clinical development plans and asset strategies within the Cell Therapy team, reporting to the Senior Medical Director, Hematology.

The candidate should be an MD (hematology preferred) with 3+ years in industry, medical monitoring experience, and publications in peer-reviewed journals. Office-based with hybrid expectations.

Qualifications

• MD, preferably Hematologist.
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferably within industry.
• Experience as a medical monitor for clinical trials.
• Publication in peer reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee multiple clinical studies or programs.
• Represent Clinical Development on Global Program Team and committees.
• Prepare clinical study documents including protocols, summaries and regulatory sections.
• Select advisory board participants and guide meeting prep.
• Synthesize disease and competitive landscape insights for asset plans.
