Job summary

Alexion in Boston, MA is seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Development to lead clinical strategy within the Cell Therapy area, reporting to the Senior Medical Director, Hematology. The role encompasses designing and executing multiple studies, and representing Clinical Development on GPT and regulatory committees.

You will guide study teams, prepare regulatory documents and publications, and apply strong clinical judgment to shape therapy area plans.

Qualifications

• MD required with hematology focus or international equivalent.
• 3+ years of industry experience in clinical development/hematology.
• Experience as a medical monitor for clinical trials.
• Publications in peer‑reviewed journals are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support the clinical subteam and global program team to craft global clinical development plans.
• Contribute to asset level and therapeutic area strategies within Cell Therapy.
• Design and execute multiple clinical studies or programs.
• Represent Clinical Development on GPT and in management reviews.
• Prepare clinical study documents, regulatory sections, and publications.
