Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide exceptional care across local skilled nursing facilities in Sulphur, Louisiana.

This full-time role offers scheduling flexibility, collaborative practice, and the chance to lead clinical care for post-acute and long-term patients. As attending physician, you will work with experienced NPs and PAs to deliver patient-centered care, provide clinical leadership and oversight within facilities, and

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible: FM, IM, Geri, PM&R & ED
• Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care while offering clinical leadership and oversight within assigned facilities.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive care.
• Manage 18-25 visits per day in local skilled nursing facilities.
• Participate in a flexible schedule with no fixed daily start/end times; no on-call duties; no overnight shifts.
