Job description

Cat Clinic of Greensboro, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, is seeking a Veterinarian to join our practice!

  1. Seeking an experienced veterinarian (NOT open to new grads).
  2. Open to full-time or part-time interests.
  3. Generous sign-on incentives, including a $40,000 sign-on bonus.
  4. $100k to $120K base salary as DVM (varies based on qualifications/experience).

Cat Clinic of Greensboro is a full-service hospital focusing exclusively on feline health, care, and wellness. Established in 1989, the clinic is located in Greensboro, North Carolina, serving the surrounding area.

We offer preventative health care and health education to the Greensboro community and the Triad region. Our services include health exams, dental care, surgical procedures, laser therapy, x-rays, and more. We seek an enthusiastic veterinarian with excellent client education skills, strong surgical and dentistry aptitude, and a passion for prevention and wellness. Familiarity with digital radiography, laser therapy, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and pharmacy is preferred.

Our area, known as The Piedmont Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point), offers a vibrant community with many activities, easy highway access, and major airports. The region provides opportunities for mountain hiking, beach lounging, and cultural experiences, including colleges like UNC Greensboro and Wake Forest University.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing continuity of care and trust through effective communication with clients.
  • Collaborating and assisting in the development of the paraprofessional team.
  • Maintaining accurate medical and surgical records.
  • Staying current with veterinary medical advancements through continuing education (minimum 20 hours/year).
  • Representing the hospital positively in the community and to the public.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Good standing licensure in North Carolina.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of veterinary experience.
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Commitment to high standards of veterinary medicine and ethics.
