Job Title: Remote Medical Director – Functional Medicine | Wellness Clinic (Florida-Based License Required)

Company Overview:

We are a forward-thinking, patient-centered wellness clinic launching in the Orlando, FL area. Our mission is to transform lives through personalized functional medicine—focusing on hormone optimization, peptide therapy, GLP-1s, and integrative weight loss solutions. We operate on a 100% self-pay model and are building a premium wellness experience.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Remote Medical Director with functional or integrative medicine experience to provide oversight and strategic clinical support for our wellness clinic. The ideal candidate is passionate about whole-person care and comfortable serving as the responsible physician of record in Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Medical Director of Record for regulatory compliance (Florida license and DEA required)

• Review and approve clinical protocols, treatment plans, and SOPs

• Provide remote oversight of nurse practitioners and/or clinical staff

• Offer strategic input on wellness services including HRT, peptides, weight loss, and longevity care

• Ensure adherence to Florida AHCA and HCCE regulatory guidelines

• Participate in virtual meetings (as needed) and be accessible for regulatory audits or inspections

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with an active Florida medical license and DEA registration

• 3+ years of experience in functional, integrative, or lifestyle medicine

• Familiarity with cash-pay clinic models and wellness-focused services

• Previous medical director experience preferred but not required

• Clear, timely communicator and aligned with modern wellness philosophy

Schedule & Compensation:

• Fully remote

• Estimated 5–10 hours/month to start

• Flat monthly retainer or hybrid structure available

• Compensation starting at $2,500–$4,000/month, based on involvement and experience
