Position Summary

Heart N Rhythm IV Therapy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to provide clinical oversight, strategic leadership, and regulatory guidance for our IV Therapy and In-Home Infusion services. Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Oversight & Compliance: Provide medical direction and supervision of all IV Therapy, Mobile Infusion, and Wound Care services; ensure adherence to evidence-based protocols, HIPAA regulations, OSHA standards, and state/federal requirements; approve clinical policies and procedures; review and co-sign treatment plans and physician orders.
  • Supervision & Collaboration: Supervise and consult with the Supervising RN and field staff; participate in case conferences and patient care planning; be available for clinical escalation issues or emergency consultations; support RN credentialing and competency evaluations.
  • Strategic Leadership: Serve as a clinical spokesperson; contribute to growth strategies, including expanding scope of care; collaborate on quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Medical Records & Documentation: Maintain documentation standards; oversee the completion and accuracy of patient charts; ensure chart audits meet accreditation and payer requirements.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO with current unrestricted license in Pennsylvania.
  • Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or related field preferred.
