NaphCare is hiring a Medical Director to join our team of medical professionals in the Marion County Jail in Ocala, FL.
As a Correctional Medical Director you will be responsible for ensuring all clinical needs are being met within the facility, while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals.
The Medical Director is responsible for providing direct and indirect basic medical care to meet the physiological and emotional needs of the patients and ensuring quality care is provided to protect the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
