Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a Medical Director/Attending Physician to oversee comprehensive care in long-term care facilities. You will provide leadership to clinical staff and ensure high-quality patient care while promoting best practices across the team.

This role includes directing credentialing, guiding quality improvement initiatives, preparing for DOH surveys, and developing new clinical programs. A CMD is preferred and LTC experience is highly valued; physicians with strong leadership

Qualifications

  • CMD certification preferred.
  • Extensive experience in long-term care settings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in LTC.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds and stand/walk for 6–8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development.
  • Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff.
  • Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist in DOH survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
  • Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility’s clinical offerings.
  • Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Director/Attending Physician to join our team. As the Medical Director/Attending Physician, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive care to patients, ensuring high-quality service, and promoting best practices across the healthcare team. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.   • Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility’s clinical offerings
  • Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
  • Competitive salary per annum: $100,000 - $120,000
