Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a dynamic Medical Director to oversee delivery of comprehensive care, lead clinical staff, and promote best practices across the team. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction while maintaining high patient care standards.

This contract role focuses on senior care across skilled nursing facilities with growth opportunities. You will chair QAPI initiatives, ensure DOH readiness, mentor physicians, and drive new clinical programs for improved resident

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive LTC/SNF experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement.
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff.
• Lead interview and credentialing for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed of geriatric care advancements to evolve offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents when needed.

As the Medical Director, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive care to patients, ensuring high-quality service, and promoting best practices across the healthcare team. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care


• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development


• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff


• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis


• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations


• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives


• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility's clinical offerings


• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support

Requirements

• Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.


• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.


• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.


• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care


• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations


• Prolonged standing and walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
