Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Site Medical Director to oversee clinical services for Maryland's incarcerated population at Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover. You will provide clinical direction, supervise medical staff, and collaborate with leadership to ensure high-quality care in a secure setting.

A DEA registration and board eligibility are required. This full-time role offers opportunities to lead CQI efforts, interface with administrative teams, and guide interdisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted license or ability to obtain one.
• Board cert/eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• DEA registration eligibility and credentialing/background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction and direct patient care at the site.
• Supervise and evaluate medical services for the incarcerated population.
• Lead clinical staff supervision and quality improvement initiatives.
• Chair or participate in committees (CQI, Infection Control, Pharmacy & Therapeutics).
• Collaborate with agency leadership and onsite providers to deliver care.
