Job summary

Devereux Georgia is seeking a Medical Director to lead a cross-disciplinary team in a residential treatment setting. You will work with nationally recognized experts and contribute to program development across community services.

The role focuses on evaluating clinical teaming, refining case review processes, and advancing evidence-based practices and center initiatives such as PBIS and DBT.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with Georgia licensure.
  • Minimum of five years experience in healthcare, human services, or education in a related role.
  • Ability to collaborate, lead teams, provide direction and integrate interdisciplinary treatment.
  • Systems-oriented thinker with customer focus.
  • Balance leadership/administrative duties with direct client care (approx. 50%).
  • Experience managing psychiatry teams and implementing clinical best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership on refinement of outcomes and predictive analytics.

The chosen candidate will initially focus on; evaluating and refining the clinical teaming process and case review protocols, collaborate with leadership on refinement of outcomes and predictive analytics, and support implementation of evidence-based practices and center initiatives – positive behavior intervention supports and dialectic behavior therapies.
