DEVEREUX GEORGIA GRACE'S PLACE
We are excited about our new campus! Due to Devereux Georgia's history of success in treating victimized individuals, the state has chosen to use Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health for their newly approved treatment program. The 24-bed program is a Child Caring Institution (Group Home) for victimized youths between the ages of 12 and 17.
Teachers follow a modified district calendar. Our teachers work additional days during Fall and Winter Breaks, as well as 15 days during May/June for Summer Enrichment. During inclement weather, our staff are expected to report to work (keeping in mind safety), while some districts may have either Virtual Learning or School Closure. These are a few of the nuances of being a certified teacher for Devereux.
As a Devereux special education teacher, you will work with other dedicated education professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:
Devereux is proud to offer ASCEND – the first career accelerator program exclusively designed to give behavioral healthcare workers the career guidance, one‑on‑one coaching, skills and financial assistance you need to reach your full potential. This program includes 100% of tuition covered (up to $15k reimbursed annually for undergraduate and $25k reimbursed annually for graduate) and student loan repayment!
Devereux conducts a very thorough background check process to ensure the safety of the children in our care. Devereux has a zero‑tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization. Devereux fosters a culture of reporting abuse, and will cooperate with the authorities to the fullest extent possible.
