Job summary

VCA Hanson is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical excellence at our AAHA-accredited practice in Hanson, MA. You’ll collaborate with seven doctors and support staff to deliver world-class medicine in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in MA, or ability to obtain.
• Commitment to the highest standard of veterinary medicine and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical excellence and patient care as Medical Director.
• Collaborate with seven doctors and support staff to deliver world-class medicine.
• Support teaching, mentorship, and continuous improvement across the team.
• Contribute to a robust clinical studies program and client services.

Schedule

• FT, PT, Rotating, specific needs
• Hours of Operation Mon-Thurs 730am -10pm, Friday 730-7pm, Sat 8-5pm, Sun 8-4pm

Cases

• Patient mix. Dogs, cats, reptiles, avian and small mammals, exotics, some small farm animals like chickens and potbellied pigs

Compensation

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Salary Range: $150,000 - 180-000. Salary range listed is based on a 40 hour work week.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
