Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a dynamic Medical Director to oversee the delivery of comprehensive care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.

You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. This is a contract role with responsibilities including credentialing oversight, QAPI governance, regulatory readiness, and program development to improve resident

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive LTC or skilled nursing facility experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and team-building skills.
• In-depth regulatory knowledge for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight and clinical guidance to medical staff.
• Lead credentialing for prospective medical staff.
• Chair QAPI committee on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric and long-term care advancements.
• Provide direct patient care to residents.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Director to join our team. As the Medical Director, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive care to patients, ensuring high-quality service, and promoting best practices across the healthcare team. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff
• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis
• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives
• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility’s clinical offerings
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support

Requirements

• Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations
• Prolonged standing and walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
