Brewer Veterinary Clinic in Brewer, ME is seeking a Medical Director to lead a high-volume small animal practice. You’ll supervise the clinic team and collaborate with the Hospital Manager on finances while working with a Regional Operations Manager to maintain top care standards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree required.
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a veterinary hospital setting preferred.
• Internship training preferred but not required.
• Ability to attain ME Veterinary License.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats).
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem and communicate with referring veterinarians.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field.
• Lead and supervise the clinic team to work with the Hospital Manager on finances.
• Work with Regional Operations Manager and Hospital Manager to achieve high standards and provide superior pet patient care.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care.
• Perform dentistries.
• Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all: staff, clients, and pets.

Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Medical Director to our team.

At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice. We have seven doctors on staff, and we treat all small animals! Our dedicated staff consists of a team of receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. We all work together to offer compassionate and superior care to our clients and their companions! We have a newly renovatedstate of the artfacility, on-site digital radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX testing equipment, as well as a well-stocked surgical suite and pharmacy. Get up to a $125,000 incentive bonus!

Relocation bonus of up to $20,000!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
• Leading & supervising the clinic team to working with the Hospital Manager on finances
• Working with a Regional Operations Manager and the Hospital Manager to achieve high standards and provide superior pet patient care

REQUIREMENTS
