Job summary

Medtronic in the United States seeks a Test Engineer II to support verification and validation of medical devices across development lifecycles. You will design and execute test methods, analyze data, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to ensure safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work with SEM and Instron ElectroPuls systems, documentation, and contribution to ongoing product lifecycle improvements in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, biomedical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years engineering/testing/lab experience in medical devices (or Master’s with 0+ years).
• Experience with mechanical/material testing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document test protocols for verification and validation.
• Design test methods, fixtures, and equipment to evaluate device performance.
• Analyze experimental data to support engineering decisions.
• Perform mechanical, materials, and functional testing on device components.
• Support root cause investigations and maintain lab documentation.
