Job summary

Abbott in Pleasanton, CA is hiring a Technician II to support manufacturing and testing of medical device products in a regulated production environment. You will perform assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and ensure documentation and regulatory requirements are met.

You will set up and maintain equipment, verify product conformance to specifications, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training required.
• Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, electronics, or regulated production.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual testing of medical device products and components.
• Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain manufacturing and test equipment.
• Verify products meet visual, mechanical, electrical, and quality specifications.
• Follow manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and quality system requirements.
• Complete production documentation accurately to maintain device traceability and compliance.
• Identify product or process nonconformances and support corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime and improve product quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing efficiency efforts.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians and serve as a lead resource when needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
