Boston Scientific is seeking a Technical Communications & Project Management Intern in Arden Hills, MN. You will shadow project managers, assist with planning, coordination, and technical documentation across cross-functional teams in a regulated medical device environment.

The role emphasizes writing, communication, and collaboration, with mentorship and job-shadowing to build practical PM and technical communication skills for a future career in the field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Technical Writing/ Technical Communications or a writing-related major.
• Academic writing or technical writing experience is preferred.
• Able to start May 17 or May 24, 2027 and work for 12 weeks.

Responsabilités

• Shadow and support project managers to gain practical exposure to project planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination within medical device product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional core teams, including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and other business partners, to support project activities and team objectives.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, timelines, milestones, and action items to help teams stay aligned and on track.
• Serve as a communication liaison between project teams and functional groups, helping facilitate information sharing, follow-up, and alignment across stakeholders.
• Support project meetings by assisting with agendas, meeting materials, notes, action items, and follow-up communications.
• Help organize and maintain project documentation and technical communications, ensuring information is clear, accurate, accessible, and appropriately documented.
• Apply strong written and verbal communication skills to translate technical and project information into clear communications for a variety of audiences.
• Assist project managers with project planning, tracking, status reporting, and coordination of deliverables associated with key product development milestones.
• Work with engineers, technical experts, and other cross-functional partners to understand project needs, dependencies, risks, and priorities.
• Gain familiarity with project management tools, processes, and best practices used to support medical device development in a regulated environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement opportunities related to project communication, documentation, planning, and team collaboration.
