Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Software Engineer to develop high-quality software for our musculoskeletal products. The role collaborates with product, clinical, and UX teams to understand user needs and contribute from design through testing and release.

The successful candidate will have a background in software development, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across disciplines. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, debugging, and testing software in at least one language.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to support software design, while validating outputs and following security requirements.
• Working knowledge of software design, source control, code review, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical, user, and product needs into software behavior and verification approaches.
• Design, implement, debug, and test production-quality software.
• Collaborate with clinical, product, systems, UX, quality, and other engineering specialists.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, and release activities.
• Provide technical guidance or mentoring appropriate to the career level.
