Job summary

Acumed LLC in Wichita, Kansas seeks an Associate Sales Representative to exceed sales quotas in an assigned territory by delivering Acumed products on time and providing high-quality technical assistance in the OR.

You will identify new business opportunities, execute targeted sales strategies, and maintain accounts with post-sale support, training, and product updates, while credentialing for hospital access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or medical discipline preferred.
• 0-2 years sales experience, preferably in medical device.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other surgical personnel.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in respective areas.
• Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments and able to gain hospital credentials.

Responsibilities

• Execute business plans to identify and close new business in the territory.
• Identify needs of new prospects and deliver responses to meet them (written, phone, in-person).
• Perform field sales calls including on-call and OR consultations.
• Provide post-sale follow up, coordinate delivery dates and training.
• Communicate product updates and portfolio changes to accounts; introduce new products as available.
