Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a design engineer to develop new medical interconnect assemblies for the Surgical and Interventional markets. You will translate customer requirements into robust specifications, lead cross-functional NPIs, and drive design reviews, risk analyses, and testing.

Onsite in Plymouth, MN with global travel. The role requires advanced engineering education with electro-mechanical design experience, knowledge of FDA/ISO13485, and a proactive, collaborative mindset

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical product design and development.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO13485 preferred.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willing to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new medical products to meet customer requirements within scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead design reviews and risk analyses for NPIs.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and DFMA features.
• Lead proof-of-concept and verification testing and document results.
• Maintain compliance with DHF and PLM processes and protect IP.
