Job summary

Yoh is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for our Santa Fe Springs, CA client in the Medical Device sector. The role focuses on inspecting medical device labeling and components and requires handling nonconforming material per documented procedures.

Onsite work with direct interaction with manufacturing and materials teams is expected. Candidates should have 1+ year of medical device or aerospace quality inspection experience, and be proficient with inspection tools and metrology equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to use micrometer, caliper, multimeter, thread gauge, tensile test, vision system, optical comparator
• Good computer skills necessary
• 1+ year of quality inspection in medical device or aerospace inspection

Responsibilities

• Inspect medical device labeling and medical device components.
• Ensure that all material received is in compliance with all appropriate documents, policies and is delivered to the appropriate locations.
• Utilizes written inspection procedures, drawings, specification sheets, and first article samples during inspection.
• Inspection may require training and use of various inspection equipment, tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
• Completes, maintains and distributes appropriate Quality records and documentation.
• Communicates directly with manufacturing, material control and management personnel.
• Ensures that all nonconforming material is handled in accordance with appropriate procedures and Documents.
• Controls access to the nonconforming material quarantine area.
