Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies per control/quality plans. The role reviews release documentation and conducts incoming inspections in line with GMP guidelines.

The position supports the Operational Excellence Program, works with precision testing equipment including CMM and Vision Systems, and is available on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00–10:30 pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Read and comprehend customer drawings and specifications.
• Communicate inspection results with team members.
• Experience with measuring instruments, methods and practices including hand tools and machine devices including CMM and Vision Systems.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions, SOPs, and training documents.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect injection molded parts for quality, appearance and performance.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, appearance and performance.
• Inspect received materials per control/quality plans.
• Audit final product documentation prior to release.
• Read and understand quality control plans, blueprints and specifications.
• Record hours worked accurately.
• Maintain organized work areas and 5S standards.
• Support and participate in Operational Excellence Program.
