Job summary

GlobalMed Logistix, LLC in West Valley City, UT seeks a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our on-site team. You will perform component and finished goods inspections, maintain records, and support GMP/GDP compliance for medical devices.

Responsibilities include documentation, NCR initiation, and disposition, with calibration tools like calipers and micrometers. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is valued; MasterControl experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, life sciences or other scientific field or equivalent work experience (1-3 years).
• Minimum 1 year experience in Quality Control.
• Knowledge of calibrated equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledge of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate component and finished goods inspections.
• Maintain inspection documentation, including scanning and filing records.
• Initiate non-conformance reports and manage disposition.
• Assist with nonconformance investigations as needed.
• Test materials to ensure they meet standards using measurement tools.
• Ensure GMP, GDP and quality system SOP compliance.
• Keep the QC area tidy and organized; proper storage of products.
• Interpret data from graphs and charts and perform counts as needed.
• Operate inspection equipment with accuracy and repeatability.
• Use MS Office; enter data into SAP; MasterControl is a plus.
• Train new staff on QC procedures and best practices.
