Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision in a manufacturing or lab setting.
  • Experience with ISO and ASTM testing is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Basic familiarity with SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Capable of working independently and completing tasks per instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering in developing catheter-based medical devices and improving manufacturing processes per FDA/ISO regulations.
  • Assist in daily lab and manufacturing activities including testing and assembly of prototypes.
  • Perform tests using standard lab equipment (e.g., force testers, calipers, flow models).
  • Build tools and fixtures and maintain/ troubleshoot R&D equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485; maintain safety and documentation.
