Ascential Medical & Life Sciences in Corvallis, Oregon is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead medical device and related projects onsite. You will manage programs from kickoff through transfer, build schedules, and drive risk mitigation while coordinating with engineering, operations, quality, and client teams.

The role requires strong collaboration, willingness to learn, and accountability for delivering on scope, schedule, and budget under FDA and ISO 13485 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Program or project management experience in medical device, biotech, CDMO, or similar.
• Familiarity with Quality Management System and design controls (FDA, ISO 13485).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs from kickoff through closure: planning, development, verification, and transfer.
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and track dependencies.
• Lead kickoffs, phase-gate and design reviews, and client and internal status meetings.
• Bring teams together, help resolve conflicts, and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Identify risks early, elevate issues, and drive mitigation plans.
• Report status, risks, and budget performance clearly to clients and leadership.
• Support change orders, forecasting, and budget tracking with guidance from senior PMs.

Education

Bachelor's or better in Engineering or related field
