Job summary

Grove Technical Resources, Inc. in Plymouth, Minnesota, is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer with medical device experience to support labeling changes, production testing methods, device specs, and yield improvements.

You will design and improve manufacturing processes, implement SPC, reduce scrap, investigate nonconforming products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product and process changes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Industrial).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a medical device/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support labeling changes and implementation for medical device products.
• Provide production support related to testing methods, procedures, device specifications, and yield issues.
• Design and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce production scrap and improve process efficiency.
• Investigate and disposition nonconforming products.
• Analyze production issues, customer returns, and manufacturing problems.
• Support corrective actions and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes using SPC.
• Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product and process improvements.
